Design Technology Creativity

Our KS2 pupils have been getting creative in Design Technology, making their very own mini monster toys during their Textiles lessons.
The group were given a design brief to research, design and create a soft toy suitable for younger children. They worked through the full process, from sketching their ideas and choosing colours, to cutting felt, sewing on buttons and adding hand-stitched details.
For many of the boys, this was their very first time trying sewing, and they should be incredibly proud of what they achieved. Their finished monsters are bright, colourful, full of character and completely unique.
A fantastic effort from everyone involved. Well done, KS2!
