Gardening Club has been a growing success!

Our lunchtime Gardening Club has given students the opportunity to get outdoors, get their hands in the soil and discover what it takes to grow and care for their own plants.
Their patience and hard work have certainly paid off. The raised beds are now filled with colour, from bright sunflowers and marigolds to ripening tomatoes and an impressive pumpkin! Students have been understandably proud to see the results of everything they have planted and nurtured.
Gardening offers much more than a harvest. It encourages responsibility, patience and teamwork while providing a calm, purposeful way to spend time outside in the fresh air.
Well done to everyone involved—you have created something very special at Oakwood Community School!
