Inspiring!

Our students enjoyed a really inspiring Q&A session with a university medical student, who kindly shared what life is like studying away from home and training to become a doctor.
It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to hear first-hand about university life, medical training, student accommodation, and the different routes people can take into higher education.
The session opened up lots of great conversations, with students asking thoughtful questions and discovering that there are many different courses, pathways and opportunities available for the future.
In addition Apples Class and Cherries Class also had a hands-on experience, with pupils having the chance to listen to hearts and lungs using a stethoscope. It was a brilliant way to bring learning to life and spark curiosity about healthcare, science and future careers.
A big thank you to our visitor for taking the time to speak with our students and for helping make the session so engaging and memorable
