At Oakwood and Cedarwood we like to have fun, and get our pupils to be creative. So recently we held a Christmas Window Display Competition. Each class were judged by the Senior Leadership Team on the overall creativity and innovativeness of their design.
The winners were Cedarwood, whose design was based on the 5 senses – you had to use all 5 to fully experience their design. Sight = wind
ow display using lights; smell = scent of orange and spice in the class; taste = mince pies in the window sill as part of the display; touch = cotton wool for snow and tinsel for decoration, hearing = Christmas music. The result was fantastic and they are worthy winners, but everyone who took part deserves a mention for some really lovely designs.
