Supersizing in the snow…..
Key Stage 3 pupils made the most of all the snow we’ve had recently by building giant snow spheres in their Maths lesson. They were tasked with trying to make the largest snow ball they could. We then measured the circumferences of the spheres and used mathematics formulas to convert our circumferences into volumes. The largest snow sphere made had a volume of over 500,000 cubic centimetres.
That’s over 500,000 cubic centimetres of snow!
Educational and great fun!
